The Temple
Thai Buddharam Temple & Cultural Centre is a Buddhist Temple established in 2012. Our aim is to promote original teachings of Buddhism which encourage self-awareness, compassion, and a balanced perspective, contributing to improved mental health.
Cultural Centre
The Temple serves as a charitable organisation while also promoting Thai culture and celebrating the diversity of customs.
We regularly organiหe Thai traditional ceremonies on auspicious dates to promote and uphold traditional customs within the Thai communities in Scotland.
Community
The Thai Buddharam temple & Cultural Centre is managed by dedicated Thai and local volunteers, with resident monks embodying the essence of the religion. Also the Thai community and laypeople support the activites of the Temple.

Thai Buddhist Temple in Aberdeen
The Thai Buddharam Temple & Cultural Centre was established in 2012 by Thai communities from Aberdeen and Shires.
Our Temple is dedicated to promoting the original teachings of Buddhism and preserving the rich heritage of traditional Thai ceremonies. We share the timeless wisdom of the Buddha, encouraging compassion, mindfulness, and inner peace.
Through Buddhist teachings, religious ceremonies and cultural activities, we offer a welcoming space for everyone to learn, practise and experience Buddhist values and Thai traditions.
We warmly welcome people of all backgrounds and faiths to visit, participate and become part of our community.
The Temple is located at East Lodge, Queen’s Road, Aberdeen, our Temple is approximately 15 minutes from the city centre.
